Tapa Turtle
This term Mrs Gibson White has been teaching us about geometry and in geometry we learnt about symmetry,rotation, translation and reflection.After:We started to do art.The art was our turtles and tapa cloths.
To do this we had to scrunch up some A3 paper and put indian dye on the squashed up piece of paper, and as for the turtles we got some ink but before that we decorated them in tapa designs.The main reason we learnt about geometry was because our tapa turtle cloth needed a lot of patterns.
To me this was a great new experience!!!!!!!!!
What is Tapa cloth:Tapa cloth(or simply tapa)is a bark cloth made from a mulberry tree.

Amazing work Bonny, I am glad you learnt so much math doing this activity. Your finished product looks amazing. You should be very proud of your efforts. Remember when you use and exclamation mark it adds emphasis to your writing. That is a lot of emphasis you wanted to add to those last two sentences?
